Prescription diet pills: are they necessary? |

Prescription--just the mention of the word conjures up images of expense and high cost.
Prescripton diet pills can really help certain people in certain circumstances, but they are not the magical answer to losing weight. Yes, they can help, especially for people severely challenged by weight loss, but learning to eat healthy, and to eat healthy portions, has to be part of the weight loss method as well.
So, can prescription diet pills help you lose weight? Yes, and No. The pills, whether they are prescription diet pills, cheap diet pills, ephedra diet pills, phentermine diet pills, or herbal remedy diet pills are never enough on their own for healthy weight loss. Eating habits must be altered or changed drastically for any long term, effective solution. The pills are only there for a boost to get the ball rolling.
If you don't learn how to eat a healthy diet with healthy portions you'll always be popping diet pills and shopping for new, better diet pills. You'd be much further ahead to adopt a healthy eating lifestyle and abandon the pills as soon as you learn your new diet and eating habits. |
