Prescription diet pills: Are they worth it? |

In today's world of obese and fat roaming the streets, our culture not only promotes a fat lifestyle, but they do not even promote good solutions. Many people are hyped up into buying quick cures to counteract years of poor dietary habits - yet these attempts at weight loss only result in more damaging health consequences.
Among these choices are prescription diet pills. Prescription diet pills are dangerous, and should be avoided much like anything else that is prescription unless you need it to survive. I have heard of even body builders taking prescription diet pills to lose body fat right before a comp - which is unhealthy and even can be lethal.
The bottom line is that anything that can change your body fast is fast for a reason - it changes your body chemistry and your body is not used to changing that fast. Any kind of quick change like that comes with a price tag, and it is not the one on the label. So, next time, before resorting to prescription diet pills for weight loss, try doing some other research into healthier ways - like cutting your calories and exercise.
